Directions:

The Muir House is located in Milford, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Delaware River
Highlands, along the Upper Delaware River. We 75 miles west of New York City, 125 miles
north of Philadelphia, 35 miles north of Stroudsburg, PA, 45 miles east of Scranton and 20
miles west of Middletown, NY.

From Scranton, PA:
- From I-84 Eastbound, make a right off the Milford exit (46) onto Route 6. Stay on Route 6
until you enter Milford (about 3 miles). Make a right on 7th Street and right again at the
stop sign onto State Route 2001. Follow this road for ½ mile. The Muir House will be on your left.

From Newburgh / Middletown, NY:
- From I-84 Westbound, make a left off the Matamoras exit (53) onto Route 6/209. Stay
on Route 6/209 until you enter Milford (about 6 miles), Turn right at the traffic light onto
Harford Street and then left onto 6th Street. Follow that road (which becomes State Route
2001) for ½ mile. The Muir House will be on your left.

From Stroudsburg, PA:
- From Route 209 North go straight into Milford through the traffic light, Turn left on 6th
Street. Follow that road (which becomes State Route 2001) for ½ mile. The Muir House will
be on your left.

From Newton / Montague, NJ:
- From Route 206 North, cross the toll bridge between NJ and PA into Milford. Continue
straight through the traffic light. Turn left on 6th Street. Follow that road (which becomes
State Route 2001) for ½ mile. The Muir House will be on your left.

From Monticello, NY:
- From Route 42 South, take Route 97 South into Port Jervis, NY. Make a right at the first
traffic light onto Route 209 South. Cross the bridge between NY and PA. Follow Route 209
South straight into Milford. Turn right at the traffic light onto Harford Street and left at 6th
Street. Follow that road (which becomes State Route 2001) for ½ mile. The Muir House will
be on your left.

From NYC:
- Take I-80 West to Jefferson/Sparta exit (34B) – approximately 37 miles. Take exit 34 B,w
which will put you on Route 15 North. Follow Route 15 North and it will turn into Route 206
North. Follow 205 north, cross the toll bridge between NJ and PA into Milford. Continue
straight through the traffic light. Turn left on 6th Street. Follow that road (which becomes
State Route 2001) for ½ mile. The Muir House will be on your left.
